  1. Why do we need a second booster vaccination?

As is well known, the first booster vaccination (3rd dose) was carried out in early 2022. Thus, the efficacy of the first booster vaccine may have decreased over time. The second booster vaccine is also useful for reducing the risk of serious illness, hospitalization, and also death from Covid-19.
