Easily Manage Your Home Needs with JAKI
Ever had a unique experience when meeting an old friend? A week ago, I had a reunion with my childhood friend, Sofia. She just got married a few weeks ago. I was so happy for her! Whilst catching up, she suddenly looked confused. That made me wonder why.
She asked, "What should I serve that would impress my parents-in-law?" Her question made me chuckle. "I think you're asking the wrong person! I'm not even married yet," I said. However, something suddenly came to my mind. I pulled out my phone and showed it to her.
"Huh? JAKI?" she asked. "That’s right," I answered. I started introducing JAKI, the super-app, to her. I continued scrolling down the screen. Eventually, we reached the personalised services section. On the far right side, there is an option called Homemaker.
JAKI Inspires Homemakers to Cook
"This is called Jakarta Kini. People in Jakarta call it JAKI as a nickname," I explained to Sofia. Her face started looking serious as she looked at my phone's screen.
"This is the latest version, JAKI 3.0. Now, it displays services suitable for various users. Whether young or old, you can find what suits you. Like this one, perfect for new lovebirds like you and Thomas!" I explained as I clicked on the Homemaker option.
Sofia grinned after hearing that. "So, how do you use it?" she asked, looking curious. I showed her the Groceries Price feature. Here, you could see a list of groceries along with their prices. My phone's location was turned on, so we instantly saw information from the nearest market. Sofia focused her attention on the screen. "Oh, there's beef! Cooking beef sounds good, like a beef stew," Sofia said excitedly. She made me feel enthusiastic too. After that, I explained that JAKI users could compare prices from various markets in Jakarta. That would enable us to choose the most affordable price.
Easily Get Healthcare Appointments Using JAKI
"Let's go shopping then, shall we?" Sofia said. “Oh, but I have to wait for Thomas to recover first. He wasn't feeling well this morning. I think he needs to take a queue number before we go.”
I immediately remembered a feature that had often helped my family. It is called Antrean Faskes. In the past, when a family member was sick, we had to go to Puskesmas or hospital to get a queue number early in the morning. Then, we would return home to rest for a while, since our turn would take a long time.
"Now, you can get a healthcare appointment without having to go early in the morning!" I exclaimed. Sofia's eyes widened, clearly surprised.
"Can you do that on JAKI too?"
“Precisely!”
Sofia started exploring JAKI enthusiastically. I helped her use the Antrean Faskes feature. Each user had to input their Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) and register at the chosen healthcare facility through JakSehat. Then, Sofia successfully made an appointment at Puskesmas Kecamatan Gambir.
"I never knew you could deal with your food and health matters using JAKI!" Sofia exclaimed with a grin.
"Yes, absolutely! That's why it's called a super-app!"
"Wow, apps can be super now!"
"Yes because all the government services of Jakarta are on one app: JAKI! That's why it's called a super-app," I explained. I also suggested Sofia to download JAKI on her phone, so she could get the help she needs in the future.
It feels great to help a fellow citizen of Jakarta, even if all I did was recommend an app. Hopefully, JAKI can assist even more people in Jakarta, whether they're students, workers, entrepreneurs, or homemakers like Sofia.
