As the developer of JAKI, Jakarta Smart City has some great news for Smartcitizens! The super app from the Jakarta Government has a new update or a fresh look. Easier to Read and Find News
Wondering what news to read today? Open the News feature and type in a keyword in the search bar. Now, you can search for news based on the topics you want to read about. For example, type “Monas” in the search bar. You’ll see a list of published articles related to Monas. You can save the news you like, which will be collected in the Saved News tab.
There’s also quicker access to the news you need. After opening the News feature, you can immediately choose to read from the following portals:

Easily Monitor Citizen Report
If you frequently submit reports using JAKI, you’ll notice the changes in the Citizen Report feature. When you open the feature, you’ll immediately see the Your Active Reports section, which contains the reports you’ve sent. Additionally, there’s a new Explore Citizen Reports menu. It includes:

More Comprehensive Air Quality Information
Who often checks Jakarta’s air quality using JAKI? The Air Quality feature has also received a new look with more detailed content! Take a closer look, and now you’ll find menus such as:

You can also better understand air quality. In the Air Quality feature, you’ll find explanations about ISPU numbers for each pollutant. Health Recommendations are also available. For example, if your area scores 88 for PM2.5, sensitive groups are advised to spend less time outdoors.
Quick NIK Verification
JAKI has a personal feature called User Account. Here, you can view information on educational, healthcare, social, social assistance (DTKS/Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial), and food security. To access the complete information, simply verify your NIK/Nomor Induk Kependudukan (identification number). The validation process is now much faster. Here are things to ensure a smooth process:
