Smartcitizen, have you checked your motor vehicle tax payment status? As a responsible citizen who owns a motorized vehicle, paying the annual motor vehicle tax (PKB) is a must. Don't forget to fulfill this obligation.

If you want to check your vehicle tax payment history before making the payment, you can do so online in Jakarta using JakPenda on the JAKI app. JakPenda is a collaboration between Jakarta Smart City and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Revenue Agency (Bapenda) to provide citizens with easy and convenient access to checking their taxes online. By using JAKI to check your vehicle taxes, you no longer need to download additional applications to access this information from anywhere, anytime. Want to know how to check your taxes through JAKI? How to Check Vehicle Tax with JakPenda

If you open the JAKI app, Smartcitizen will find a wide selection of JAKI features. To access JakPenda, click Others (Lainnya). Then select JakPenda. After connected with the JakPenda feature, follow these steps below: 

1. Choose Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (Motor Vehicle Taxes);
2. Tap PKB;
3. Insert a vehicle registration plate number that is valid and registered in Jakarta;
4. Then, click Cek Pajak (Check Taxes);
5. Info Kendaraan (Vehicle Information) and Riwayat (History) will be shown immediately.
    

The Vehicle Info section will contain some information about your motorized vehicle, such as police number, vehicle brand, vehicle type, information on how many vehicles you have, year of manufacture, selling value, blocking status, and the tax validity period. Meanwhile, the History section contains information regarding the latest Motor Vehicle Tax principal amount and the date of payment.
