Thanks to music, your mood can improve and your creativity can flow. No wonder there is a Hari Musik Nasional (National Music Day) in Indonesia. What's its origin? When is the celebration? Why is There a Hari Musik Nasional?

Hari Musik Nasional is celebrated on 9 March. This celebration was established in Keputusan Presiden  Republik Indonesia Nomor 10 Tahun 2013 Tentang Hari Musik Nasional (Presidential Decree No. 10 of 2013 concerning National Music Day of the Republic of Indonesia). You could say that the celebration is an important moment in Indonesia. Music serves as a form of cultural expression. Additionally, noble human values ​​can also be represented.

The Keputusan Presiden states that Hari Musik Nasional is celebrated so that we can all appreciate Indonesian music. There are many forms of appreciation that we can all do, one of which is by attending music events. The confidence of musicians increases and event organisers will be motivated. How to do so? Let's use the Maps feature. Here, you can see the public transportation points in Jakarta. But first, please enable your device's location. To use the feature, type "Maps" in the search bar. Once the feature is open, try following these steps:

  1. click on the Transportation section,

  1. choose the option that suits you best: Bus Stop (Mikrotrans and Metrotrans stops), TJ Stop (Transjakarta Stop), MRT Station, or LRT Station. If you choose Bus Stop, you'll see that the nearest Mikrotrans and Metrotrans stops are 140 metres away from your location, while the Transjakarta stop is 177 metres away.

Besides the Maps feature, there's also a feature that makes it easy to get around Jakarta. You can use the Public Transportation feature that provides schedules, routes, and fares for public transportation in Jakarta: MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, Transjakarta, and Mikrotrans.
