Why is There a Hari Musik Nasional?
Hari Musik Nasional is celebrated on 9 March. This celebration was established in Keputusan Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 10 Tahun 2013 Tentang Hari Musik Nasional (Presidential Decree No. 10 of 2013 concerning National Music Day of the Republic of Indonesia). You could say that the celebration is an important moment in Indonesia. Music serves as a form of cultural expression. Additionally, noble human values can also be represented.
The Keputusan Presiden states that Hari Musik Nasional is celebrated so that we can all appreciate Indonesian music. There are many forms of appreciation that we can all do, one of which is by attending music events. The confidence of musicians increases and event organisers will be motivated.
