New Vaccination Status Color
It has been more than a year since the vaccination was first implemented. However, until now the provisions related to vaccination are still being updated. In line with the latest vaccination provisions, as of July 17, 2022, the colors of the vaccination status in PeduliLindungiand JAKI (Jakarta Kini) were updated. Now, there are four colors of vaccination status; green, yellow, red, and black. What does each of these colors mean? Let’s find out by reading the following article.
How to Check Vaccination Status
Before finding out what the colors mean, you need to know how to check the vaccination status first. To check vaccination status through PeduliLindungi, you need to type your full name and NIK. Then, check the captcha field, and click Check. Vaccination status and the information on your Covid-19 test results in the last three days will immediately appear.
Alternatively, you can check your vaccination status using the Jakarta super app, JAKI. Firstly, open the application. After entering the main page, swipe 1 time to the left of the banner at the top of the page. You will find the Covid-19 Vaccination Registration banner. Click the banner, then login by entering your NIK and full name according to your ID card. Voila, your vaccination status will appear immediately!
The Meaning of JAKI Vaccination Status Colors
After the vaccination status appears, you may wonder, what does the color mean? Well, each color represents the health condition of the individual concerned. There are four colors that could potentially appear on your vaccination status, which are:
- Green

Age 18 years and over
- Have a booster vaccination according to the type of vaccine received
- Not a Covid-19 patient or close contact
- Antigen test results (1x24 hours) or PCR (3x24 hours) are negative
- Completely vaccinated and recovered from Covid-19 in less than 90 days
Age 6-17 years old
- Completely vaccinated according to the type of vaccine received
- Not a Covid-19 patient or close contact
- Antigen test results (1x24 hours) or PCR (3x24 hours)
- Already vaccinated once and recovered from Covid-19 in less than 90 days
If your vaccination status is yellow, then you are allowed to travel to public places by following local government regulations and respective public areas. Yellow vaccination status indicates that you fit one of these criteria.
Age 18 years and over
- Completely vaccinated according to the type of vaccine received
- Not a Covid-19 patient or close contact
- Already vaccinated once and recovered from Covid-19 in less than 90 days
Age 6-17 years old
- Already vaccinated 1x according to the type of vaccine received
- Open Covid-19 patients or close contacts
- Have not vaccinated and recovered from Covid-19 in less than 90 days
If you get a red status, you are not allowed to travel to public places, because it is included in this criteria.
Age 18 years and over
- Not vaccinated or just vaccinated once according to the type of vaccine received
- Not a Covid-19 patient or close contact
Age 6-17 years old
- Never been vaccinated
Your vaccination status is black? This means that you are not allowed to travel to public places. Because, those of you whose vaccination status is black belong to this category.
Age 18 years and over
- Positive Covid-19 less than 10 days
- History of contact with positive cases less than 14 days
