"They say that residents can complain about various problems and violations found in Jakarta, is that true?"

"I bet there is no response or long follow-up."

Maybe that thought flashed through the heads of many people who have never tried to report a problem via the JAKI application.  It could be because of concerns about whether the report was actually acted upon by the officer or simply forgotten.  So, to get rid of your worries, here are the testimonials of JAKI users who have reported via the JakLapor feature on JAKI.

Report Various Types of Problems

As Smarcitizen said above, you can report various types of problems in Jakarta through JAKI.  You can report damaged public facilities, accumulated garbage, illegal parking, dead street lights, and so on.

When you make a report at JAKI, you are required to take a photo of the problem you find and choose a problem category.  There are so many categories of problems in JAKI and each of these categories will make it easier for officers to handle reports appropriately in accordance with the OPD (Regional Apparatus Organization) on duty.

Fast Follow Up

JAKI will make it easier for you to report quickly and be responded to quickly by officers.  This is because reports that come in through the JAKI application will be connected to the officer's CRM (Quick Response Community) application which is monitored in real time.  Your report will go to the local kelurahan, then forwarded to the relevant OPD that handles problems according to the reporting category.

Of course, each type of report will be handled in a different time frame.  Some are handled for days, because they have to be handled by cross-departmental organizations.  However, many of them have finished within a day, as reported by Smartcitizen above.  In fact, there are also reports that are completed in a matter of hours, for example Smartcitizen below:

Your Privacy is Safe

For those of you who want to report violations, but are afraid of being caught, don't worry.  JAKI has a private/confidential feature that is automatically selected when you report a violation.  With this, your identity will be protected and detected as anonymous, even officers cannot see the reporter who chooses this private feature.

Tips for those of you who use private mode, make sure you take photos secretly and from a safe distance.

Let's follow the ninja way from Smartcitizen above by reporting various problems and violations in Jakarta that you encounter, to make this city even better.  With this you can be a hero of Jakarta together with the officers, to make the city we live in comfortable.
