Are you one of the people who are getting ready to commute in Jakarta? Since PPKM Level 3 was imposed at the end of this August, Jakartans as well as people who live in the suburban area have prepared themselves for work or school. Several regulations were implemented amid these conditions. For example, the capacity of public transportation is limited at 50% of normal capacity, and the requirement of a vaccination certificate which you have to show before getting on public transportation. Besides the vaccination certificate, here are other things you need to bring along before taking public transportation in Jakarta.

Public Transportation Operational Hours

This part also demands your attention. During PPKM Level 3, public transportation services in Jakarta have made necessary adjustments in their operational hours. For example, Transjakarta operates from 05.00-21.30. Meanwhile for LRT, the operating hour is from 05.30 to 21.30 with a 10-minute headway. Assuming you don’t fancy being late to your business, it’s always good to check on the operational hours of your chosen mode of transportations.

Masks and Hand Sanitizer

At this point, these two items are the absolute necessary out of all the stuff inside your bag. You can’t leave the house without it. To save you from trouble, make sure you have enough of it before going outside.
