The geo-tagging technology of this feature allows you to search for prices from markets around you. You can automatically get information on the prices of food items at markets nearest to your location, or you can choose the nearest market you want to check for food prices.

To navigate the Food Prices feature more easily, follow the explanation below. When you open the Food Prices feature, your detected location will appear. Below it, under the Commodities tab, there are prices of food items in several nearby markets.

Public Transportation Feature: Getting Around Jakarta During Ramadan Made Easier

Ngabuburit or waiting for iftar time is one of the activities that can generally only be done during Ramadan. For those who enjoy ngabuburit by going to city parks or public spaces using public transportation, you can use JAKI to make your journey easier.

The Public Transportation feature on JAKI allows you to check schedules, routes, locations of stops, and maximum fares of public transportation modes under PT Jakarta Transportation (Transjakarta). These public transport modes include MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, TransJakarta, and Mikrotrans.

Here's how it works. On the main page of the Public Transportation feature, you will be presented with four options of public transportation modes. If you choose MRT, you will see operational hours, maximum fare, route, and departure schedule.

If you choose LRT Jakarta, operational hours, maximum fare, route, and departure schedule will also appear.

If you choose Transjakarta, information such as operational hours, minimum fare, payment methods, nearest stop from your location, Transjakarta numbers passing through that stop, and departure times will be displayed.

Meanwhile, if you choose Mikrotrans, the information that appears includes operational hours, maximum fare, nearest stop from your location, Transjakarta numbers passing through that stop, and their routes.

Map Feature: Find Iftar Places and Places of Worship

Looking for restaurants or places to eat for iftar? Or the nearest mosque to perform prayers? The Map feature on JAKI provides maps and directories to help you explore information about facilities and public spaces in Jakarta, including eateries and mosques.

When you open the Map feature, you will be presented with categories of facilities and public spaces in Jakarta. To search for places to eat, click on the Culinary category. The Jakarta map will appear with the locations of culinary spots and their names. You can also type a specific location in the search bar, and the JAKI map will automatically show culinary spots in that location. If you click on one of the culinary spots, you can see the address, coordinates, and description of the place.

It is similar to places of worship. If you want to find mosques for worship, click on the Religious category. The Jakarta map will display points of worship along with their names. You can manually choose a mosque or search based on location. Information such as address, coordinates, and description of the place will then appear.

Free WiFi Feature: Find Free Internet Spots for Religious Study

Not only for fasting, but Ramadan can also be utilized to deepen religious knowledge and get closer to the Creator. One alternative for religious learning in the digital age is through the internet. Therefore, the Free WiFi feature on JAKI can also help you achieve your spiritual goals in this Ramadan.

Free internet networks through JAKI can be accessed at 8,227 WiFi points, including in underprivileged residential areas, Integrated Child-Friendly Public Spaces (RPTRA), as well as parks and city forests.

Here's how the Free WiFi feature works. When you open the feature, you will find a Jakarta map showing WiFi points across Jakarta. There is also a list of location names, addresses, and distances from your location. You can also search for WiFi spots around you by clicking on Scan This Area or entering the name of the area in the search bar. Once you find the free WiFi spot you want, you can proceed to connect to the internet through your smartphone settings.
