A Guide to Use JakPenda Feature
This June will be the last month of tax amnesty. Taxpayers can report or disclose unfulfilled tax obligations through the Voluntary Disclosure Program (PPS). This program has been open since January 1, 2022 and ends on June 30, 2022. Until June 28, 2022, the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) revealed that 160 thousand taxpayers had participated in PPS with a total net worth of Rp. 390.15 trillion.
Then, who is required to follow the PPS? Of course, Indonesian citizens who have not reported their assets in detail, either individuals, companies, or business entities, regardless of having a TIN or not. Now, for those of you who meet the criteria and want to check your tax obligations first before joining the PPS, the JAKI application has a collaboration feature with Bapenda, namely JakPenda that you can use. To make it easier to use the features, read the following guide.
What's in the JakPenda Features?
When you open JAKI, you will be faced with the main page that displays several excellent features. Click More, then select JakPenda.
On the main page of the JakPenda feature, you will find a profile that reads “Halo [your full name]. If you click the button, you will be led to the Taxpayer's profile. This profile contains information on the type of taxpayer, domicile, ID card number, NPWP number, and cellphone number. Returning to the main page, you will also find three tax service options that can be accessed through JakPenda, namely Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB), Land and Building Tax (PBB), and Regional Tax. Finally, there is a Pay Code History section for you to access the history of payment codes on PBB and Local Taxes.
How to Check Taxes Using JakPenda?
It's easy-peasy! On the JakPenda main page, you can simply select one of the three tax services you want to access. Then, follow the instructions for each service. After accessing the selected tax service, you will be asked to enter certain data and get information regarding the status of tax payments and others.
For example, when checking the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB), you will be asked to enter a motorized vehicle number. After that, click Check Tax. The feature will display three pieces of information, namely vehicle information, such as Police Number, Brand, Type, Owned to-, Year of Manufacture, Selling Value, Block Status, and Tax Validity Period. Then, history such as the amount of the last PKB Principal and the Last PKB Payment Date. In addition, there are also tax details, which include PNBP (Non-Tax State Revenue) endorsement, PNBP Plate, PNBP Print STNK (Vehicle Number Certificate), PNBP Vehicle Registration Plate, PKB Principal, PKB Fines, SWDKLLJ (Compulsory Contribution of Road Traffic Accident Funds) Principal, SWDKLLJ Fines, and Total Bills.
