Smartcitizen, have you tried JakLingko’s integrated tariff? Now, you can take a trip using several modes of public transportation in Jakarta at a lower cost. This integrated tariff service applies to transportation modes under the auspices of JakLingko, which are Moda Raya Terpadu (MRTJ), Lintas Raya Terpadu Jakarta (LRTJ), Transjakarta BRT, Non-BRT, and Mikrotrans. By getting yourself an integrated tariff, you will only be charged a maximum fee of IDR 10,000 only when using two or more JakLingko transportation modes within 3 hours.

One Man One Card

The integrated tariff only applies if you use a JakLingko transportation card and electronic cards issued by Bank BCA, Bank BRI, Bank BNI, Bank DKI, or Bank Mandiri. But keep in mind to only use one card for one customer.

In order for the electronic card to be used as a transportation card so you can get the integrated tariff, the card needs to be activated first. Activation can be done by tapping the card on the Balance Check Terminal (BCT) tool. You can find these tools at the nearest stations and bus stops.

Here is the procedure for activating an electronic card.

  1. Find a BCT tool at the nearest bus stop or station;
  2. Tap the card on the BCT tool. Wait while the tool is processing your card;
  3. The card status will appear on the BCT tool as “Not Yet Active”;
  4. Tap once again and wait for the BCT tool to process your card;
  5. The transportation card is active!

Don’t Forget to Tap In and Out the Card

During the introduction phase of the integrated tariff system, some customers had their cards blocked. Don't worry if this happens to you! The card can be blocked if its balance is insufficient or you forget to double tap (tap in and tap out). In order for the cards to work, you have to tap in and tap out at all bus stops, stations, or buses (for non-BRT Transjakarta), every time you travel using the JakLingko transportation modes. Make sure your balance is above IDR 5,000 every time you start a trip. You can check the balance using the BCT tool, ask the staff to help check the remaining balance on the electronic card, or check it yourself via the NFC feature on the smartphone.

What If Your Balance Is Cut Twice?

If you experience a condition where your balance is cut twice when you tap in and tap out the card, follow these steps:

  1. Send and inform the card/PAN number that is having problems. The card/PAN number is sent to JakLingko Customer Care via WhatsApp 081260001440, telephone 02129223034, or email customercare@jaklingkoindonesia.co.id;
  2. Download the JakLingko app;
  3. Connect to the Fello digital wallet on the payment method in the profile menu;
  4. You will get your balance via the Fello digital wallet in the application during a maximum of H+7 (working days) after the complete data is received.

JakLingko: Making Mobilization Easy and Affordable

The Integrated Tariff program is one of the Provincial Government of Jakarta's efforts in collaboration with PT Jak Lingko Indonesia to provide easy and affordable public transportation access for residents. Other than the Integrated Tariff innovation, through the JakLingko Application, you can also be connected to and use the Commuter KRL. Collaborating with Grab Indonesia, the JakLingko application also allows you to travel to and from the nearest bus stop or station using online taxi services.

That would be all about JakLingko's integrated tariff service. Are you interested to try? Let’s activate your e-card, then!
