Since the relaunch of the JAKI app a little while ago, many of us have started trying out its new features. Smartcitizens even had the chance to hear the updates directly from the Jakarta Provincial Government during the “Jakarta Kini Lebih Dekat” event. But some may still be wondering, “What exactly has changed or been added in the new JAKI?”
This article will walk you through all the latest features and key improvements in JAKI. From healthcare and emergency services to transportation and support for residents of the Kepulauan Seribu, each feature is designed to be more accessible and useful for your daily needs as a Jakarta resident. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new and what you can start using today!
The new JAKI: more services and improved
Healthcare Appointment
One of JAKI’s key updates is in healthcare. With the Healthcare Appointment feature, you can now book medical appointments online at any health facility managed by the Jakarta Provincial Government. No more long lines at the clinic. For BPJS (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial Kesehatan) users, there is a dedicated launcher that links directly to the JKN Mobile app, making access to healthcare services even more efficient with JAKI.

Free Ambulance Service and Emergency Call 112
In the emergency services section, JAKI now features two crucial services: free Ambulance and the 112 Emergency Call, provided by Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi DKI Jakarta (Jakarta Health Department). Both can be accessed right from JAKI’s main page, making it easier for users to request medical help. The 112 emergency button connects directly to BPBD (Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah) (Jakarta disaster management agency) and is available every day, free of charge. Please use these features wisely!

Area Parkir (Parking Locator)
For those who often drive around the city, the Area Parkir (parking locator) feature helps you find the nearest available parking spots across Jakarta. No more going back and forth on the block because you can see it all in one screen! Just enable location on your device, open the Maps feature, and select Area Parkir.

Coordination Button for Citizen Report
Though it works behind the scenes, one powerful addition is Tombol Koordinasi (coordination button) on the CRM Monitoring Dashboard. With this tool, city leaders like the governor and deputy governor can directly assign tasks to relevant agencies based on citizen reports. This shortens the command chain and speeds up government responses.

Now more than ever, JAKI is not just more complete. It is more in tune with what Jakarta’s residents need in daily life. Each feature is designed to help make city living easier, safer, and more comfortable.
