The Public Transport feature in JAKI is a collaboration feature with PT JakLingko which contains information regarding routes, schedules, and fares for MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, TransJakarta, and Mikrotrans. Since 2022, the Public Transport feature has been visited by users 635,504 times. Meanwhile, 164,053 accounts used the Public Transport feature as of May 2023.

How to Access Public Transport Feature in JAKI

There are many ways to access the Public Transport feature, such as through the search bar, the menu list on the Homepage, the Transportation service category, the Office Worker persona, and the Explore Jakarta with JAKI section in the Recommended for You section. To make it easier to find it, remember that this feature is depicted with the bus logo.

To access the Public Transport feature via the search bar, follow these steps:

1. Open the JAKI application. If you don't have it, download it via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store;
2. Type “Transportation” in the search bar on the homepage if you use JAKI in Indonesian, or type “Transportation” if you use JAKI in English;
3. Click features. The Public Transport feature main page will appear.

You can also access the Public Transport feature via a menu list with the following steps:

1. Open the JAKI application;
2. Click the Public Transport feature in the JAKI menu list on the Homepage.

If you want to access the Public Transport feature via a service category, do these steps:

1. Open the JAKI application;
2. Click More in the menu list on Home;
3. On the Featured tab, scroll to the Public Transport feature. Click features; or
4. Select the Category tab, and click the Transportation category.

To access the Public Transport feature through a persona in JAKI, check out the following steps:

1. Open the JAKI application;
2. Scroll Home to find the Made for You section;
3. Click the Office Worker persona;
4. Select the Public Transport feature.

Scenario for Searching Routes, Schedules, and Tariffs 

To make it easier for you to use the Public Transport feature, here is an example if you want to go to Kampung Melayu and need information about routes, schedules, and public transportation fares. First, open the JAKI application. Assume that you choose to access the feature via the menu list on the Homepage, therefore click the Public Transport menu on the Homepage. You will go to a page containing information service options for MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, TransJakarta, and Mikrotrans. Type your destination, namely "kampung melayu" in the search bar on the page. Then, click the magnifying glass icon.

You will be given information regarding MRT and LRT stations and TransJakarta and Microtrans stops around Kampung Melayu. After clicking on the name of the station or bus stop, you will be given information on public transportation routes that pass through the station or bus stop around Kampung Melayu. If you click on the route, you can also see the estimated arrival time for that route. In the description section above the route, there are also operational days and hours, as well as transportation rates and payment methods.
