Parks in Jakarta can be a fun place to relax. We can “escape” for a moment from the bustle of daily activities and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere there. There are many locations that are easy to reach. No need to bother bringing your private vehicle. You can easily take public transport! Taman Sumenep, Central Jakarta

Taman Sumenep is quite a unique park. It has a bridge! This bridge connects Jalan Sumenep to Jalan Purworejo in Central Jakarta. The nearest stop is Halte Tosari. To visit, you can take Transjakarta bus corridor 1, MRT, or KRL.
 

Aside from enjoying its unique features, you can also take advantage of the park’s facilities. There’s a jogging track and fitness equipment available. Want to relax? Feel free to sit on the park benches!

Taman Cattleya, West Jakarta

Looking for a versatile park? Head to Taman Cattleya! You can do various activities here: exercise, picnic, or even take photos. The park features the Anna of Kyiv Statue, a gift from Ukraine for Jakarta’s 492nd anniversary. How cool is that?

This park spans over three hectares in West Jakarta. To get there, you can take Transjakarta bus corridor 9A and get off at Halte Kota Bambu.

Taman Rawa Badak Utara, North Jakarta

For North Jakarta people, you can visit Taman Rawa Badak Utara! This park feels lush and offers various facilities. Located in North Jakarta, it’s close to Halte Plumpang. To get there, take Transjakarta bus corridor 10.

Here, you can exercise on the jogging track and use the fitness equipment. If needed, there’s also free Wi-Fi. The artificial lake adds beauty to the surroundings. Don’t miss out on this one!

Taman Piknik, East Jakarta 

As the name suggests, Taman Piknik is perfect for a picnic! It has a large grassy area and the trees make it feel cool. The beautiful flowers can lift your mood. This park is near Halte Seberang Polsek Duren Sawit. Just take the Transjakarta bus corridor 7P.

You can also exercise here, and there’s a playground for children. So, when are you visiting?

Taman Pejatian, South Jakarta

South Jakarta people, have you visited Taman Pejatian yet? This park is located in Pasar Minggu. You can take Transjakarta bus corridor 9D and get off at Halte Masjid At-Taqwa 2.

Taman Pejatian is equipped with various facilities, including a guard post. You can enjoy the sports field, an open-air amphitheater, a multipurpose building, a reading corner, a bird plaza, murals, a playground, and a jogging path. Toilets are also available. It’s definitely a great spot for children to play. Let’s visit!
