Jakarta Library services have been integrated in the JAKI application. To take advantage of this service, you can choose a banner that says Jakarta Library can be found on the JAKI homepage. After you click on the banner, you can surf the fun to see a wide selection of books, register for a library membership, or fill out a guest book as a reservation for a visit to the library. Let's take a peek, what the form of the service looks like!

Can View Books or Create Library Memberships

After you click on the banner, you will be taken directly to the homepage of the perpustakaan.jakarta.go.id site. On the homepage of this site, you can see various types of books, there are fiction novels for teenagers, children's fiction novels, comics, language learning books, biographies, and others. So, you can check the collection of available books and also read the synopsis. 

For example, you chose the title of the book The Alpha Girl's Guide. You can see the description and details of the book, so you have an idea before reading the book. In addition, you can see a selection of other book recommendations that are similar in genre. Here, the homepage earlier, you can also search for the book you want to read. However, for borrowing books, it cannot be done online, so you need to come directly to the library. 

Before coming to the library, you need to make a reservation by selecting the guest book content feature. To do this, on the homepage you select "Explore". Once you select the contents of the guest book, you will be directed to fill out the form. In the three lines located in the upper left corner, you can choose whether you want to reserve as a member, non-member (general/child), or group. Then, you can fill in the location of the Jakarta - Cikini Library, the date of visit, and also the main population number (NIK). When you have filled out the form, don't forget to click "submit" and you will be given a barcode that is used to be scanned according to the date of visit you have chosen. 

If you want to borrow books or want to access the multimedia room, then you need to create a library membership. The trick on the homepage, you select "account". Later, you need to fill in your personal data, such as your NIK, full name, phone number, e-mail, and password. Then, check the statement and you will be sent an OTP code. However, the registration process has been successful, but you need to complete all your personal data and upload a photo of yourself. 

After completing it, you will be asked to upload a Jakarta e-KTP if you are a Jakarta resident or for non-Jakarta residents will be asked to upload an ID card and a domicile letter/school/work certificate in Jakarta. Then, fill in the full address, and click Finish. If you have clicked finish, you are asked to wait 1x24 hours for the data verification process, which can later be checked on your e-mail. If it has been verified, if you want to go to the homepage, you can just log in.
