Goodbye 2020, a year full of struggles but still feels special after it is over. A set of problems that we faced during 2020 may make us realize how powerful we are to get through it until now. But besides us, there is also a powerful city, Jakarta! Various problems have colored Jakarta from the beginning to the end of the year. But thanks to all of us, Jakarta has become one of the strongest cities that is able to solve those various problems.

The Cepat Respon Masyarakat (CRM) data recorded that there were 137.776 problems in Jakarta reported through the complaint channel throughout 2020. A total of 137.574 reports, or 99.85% of them have been successfully completed by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

Then, what are the most common problems faced by Jakarta in 2020? Let's take a look at the 5 most selected report categories based on the following CRM data.

Like any other metropolis, Jakarta citizens also want a peaceful and orderly life. Especially when conditions are uncertain such as during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Disruption of Peace and Order category was the most favorite report category for 2020, with a total of 15.968 reports. This shows that there are still a lot of peace and order violations that occurred in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, the second and third positions in the most reported category were occupied by old enemies of Jakarta, Trash, and Illegal Parking. The Trash category is the second-largest category with the number of reports reaching 14.494. Only 1 report difference with the Illegal Parking category which is in the third position with a total of 14.493 reports.

The Jakarta Provincial Government has implemented the Smart Governance concept to objectify the Jakarta smart city ecosystem. One of the efforts taken was to facilitate 14 complaint channels that were quick and easy to use by all levels of society, one of them is through the JAKI application.

The Cepat Respon Masyarakat complaint channel has made the time needed to follow up the reports become shorter. In 2020, the follow-up report in 5 regions in Jakarta is not more than 15 hours. In this case, South Jakarta became the region with the fastest follow-up time with an average completion time of 3 hours 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, the percentage of the reports each month during 2020 is always above 96%. This shows the sincerity of the Jakarta Provincial Government to make Jakarta into a more comfortable city, of course, this can’t be separated from our help.
