Good news for Jakartan! PT. JakLingko Indonesia issued a tariff integration policy for JakLingko. This policy is contained in the Governor's Decree Number 733 of 2022 concerning the Amount of Mass Public Transport Tariffs. Now, you can ride several modes of transportation (Transjakarta, MRT, LRT) at a lower price and in single payment. Ordering and paying for tickets is also done through the application, making it more practical and less time consuming. Read the following article to find out more information .

How to order JakLingko integrated tickets?

Before ordering tickets, make sure the JakLingko application is installed on your smartphone. If it's already installed, create an account first so you can book tickets. The following are the steps for ordering JakLingko's integrated tickets.

  1. Open the JakLingko App;
  2. Log into your account;
  3. On the main page, click the “Ticket” option;
  4. Next, press “Buy Tickets”;

  1. Enter your itinerary. Click “Search Trip”;

  1. Select “The Cheapest Route”;

  1. Make your payment using either QRIS or Fello. Make sure you have registered and connected it to the JakLingko application beforehand;

  1. You will get ticket access in the form of a QR Code for each mode.

Next, you can scan the QR Code at the bus stop or station. No worries, the staff will help direct the scanning process on the scanner machine. Meanwhile, Fello is electronic money that has the same function as cash as a means of payment.

You can ride the Transjakarta, MRT, or LRT transportation modes seamless with only Rp. 2,500. Furthermore, you will be charged a tariff of IDR 250 per kilometer with a maximum rate of IDR 10,000. However, the maximum travel time you have is 180 minutes. If the intermodal journey takes more than 180 minutes, you will be charged IDR 10,000 plus the cost of the trip after 180 minutes.

JakLingko’s New Integrated Tariff: Save Up To 50%

The JakLingko tariff integration can be enjoyed by the public as of August 8, 2022. One of the citizens who have tried this service is Raedi Fadil. When interviewed, he shared his experience of riding JakLingko with integrated fares. “Initially, I learned about this program from The Jakarta Provincial Government’s social media on 11 August. The day after, I tried to order tickets from the JakLingko application. The route I took was from Bank Indonesia Transjakarta Bus Stop, taking Transjakarta to Plaza Senayan MRT Station. From there, I took the MRT to Cipete Raya Station. In total there are 2 modes of transportation that I used," he said.

Using 2 modes of transportation to reach a destination that is quite far from each other, Raedi only needs to pay Rp. 5,500. Before this program existed, the same trip could cost passengers deeper, costing Rp11,500. This means that JakLingko's integrated tariff has succeeded in saving Raedi 50% for the trip to the Bank Indonesia Transjakarta Bus Stop to Cipete Raya MRT Station.

Even so, the JakLingko tariff integration program is still new and needs further development in the future. Raedi believes several things need to be improved, especially in the JakLingko application itself. “As a new user, I find it quite difficult to find the exact bus stop as a point of departure so that I can get better integrated fare recommendations,” said Raedi. “In addition, QR access on each ticket is still separated. I hope that in the future JakLingko can provide recommendations for departure points and destinations with integrated tariffs and integrated tariff schemes for customers to make it easier to access services.”
