JakLingko’s New Integrated Tariff: Save Up To 50%
The JakLingko tariff integration can be enjoyed by the public as of August 8, 2022. One of the citizens who have tried this service is Raedi Fadil. When interviewed, he shared his experience of riding JakLingko with integrated fares. “Initially, I learned about this program from The Jakarta Provincial Government’s social media on 11 August. The day after, I tried to order tickets from the JakLingko application. The route I took was from Bank Indonesia Transjakarta Bus Stop, taking Transjakarta to Plaza Senayan MRT Station. From there, I took the MRT to Cipete Raya Station. In total there are 2 modes of transportation that I used," he said.
Using 2 modes of transportation to reach a destination that is quite far from each other, Raedi only needs to pay Rp. 5,500. Before this program existed, the same trip could cost passengers deeper, costing Rp11,500. This means that JakLingko's integrated tariff has succeeded in saving Raedi 50% for the trip to the Bank Indonesia Transjakarta Bus Stop to Cipete Raya MRT Station.
Even so, the JakLingko tariff integration program is still new and needs further development in the future. Raedi believes several things need to be improved, especially in the JakLingko application itself. “As a new user, I find it quite difficult to find the exact bus stop as a point of departure so that I can get better integrated fare recommendations,” said Raedi. “In addition, QR access on each ticket is still separated. I hope that in the future JakLingko can provide recommendations for departure points and destinations with integrated tariffs and integrated tariff schemes for customers to make it easier to access services.”
