During the pandemic, vaccination is one of the main steps to stop the transmission of the Coronavirus. Because, in addition to implementing health protocols, vaccination aims to provide immunity and protect the health of the people. Therefore, the Jakarta Provincial Government is now expanding the coverage for Covid-19 vaccination to the public.

For example, Jakarta's government now has made health facilities and vaccination centers in Jakarta accessible for the general public with ID cards from every part of Indonesia. Further commitment also means that people who don't have Jakarta’s ID card are now allowed to get any type of vaccine such as Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Moderna, and Pfizer.

Priority Group

This latest vaccination campaign is intended for people who want to get their first and second dose of vaccines. As for the priority group of the public that can get certain types of vaccines as of October 2021, are as follows:

Sinovac

The vaccine is intended for adolescents aged 12-17 years, pregnant women, and adults aged 18 years and above.

AstraZeneca

The vaccine is for adults aged 18 years and over. The use of the first dose of this type of vaccine will be determined by the stock of vaccines in each health facility.

Moderna

The vaccine is for pregnant women and adults aged 18 years and above. As in the case of AstraZeneca, the use of the first dose of this type of vaccine will be determined by the stock of vaccines in each health facility.

Pfizer

The vaccine is for adolescents aged 12-17 years, pregnant women, and adults aged 18 years and over.

For people who have severe comorbid diseases and autoimmune diseases can be vaccinated in accordance with the recommendations of the doctor.
