With continuous digital innovation and strong synergy established with various stakeholders, JSC has achieved numerous significant accomplishments. Here is a glimpse of JSC's journey throughout 2024.

Smart City Ecosystem Campaign through Digital Platforms

Jakarta Smart City has consistently captured the attention of Jakarta residents through various programs and digital innovations. This is reflected in the performance of Jakarta Smart City's digital products. For example, the super app JAKI or Jakarta Kini reached 6,387,494 total downloads in 2024 and underwent three major developments:

  1. Enhanced Air Quality Feature
In 2024, this feature was upgraded to provide real-time, detailed information about air quality conditions in Jakarta. Data is connected to 31 sensors spread across the city. In addition to monitoring air quality, the feature offers comprehensive information, including:
    • Air Pollution Standard Index (APSI) numeric scale
    • Air pollutant information
    • Search function
    • Health recommendations
    • Consultation services
    • FAQ Assistance
    • APSI ranking by region
  2. This innovation allows residents to easily monitor their environment, raising awareness and supporting a healthy lifestyle.
  3. Enhanced News Feature
The news feature was improved to deliver more relevant, informative, and user-friendly content. This development helps users quickly grasp important government issues, supports informed decision-making, and boosts public engagement in government programs. Moreover, the enhancement contributes to raising public awareness and participation in various government initiatives.
  4. Improved Citizen Reporting Feature
Upgrades included easier navigation, consistent design, and reliable systems to strengthen the feature’s role as an interactive channel between citizens and the government. With a more intuitive interface, residents can report neighborhood issues more easily and responsively, fostering faster and more efficient solutions.

These three enhancements solidify JAKI's position as the go-to super app for Jakarta residents in supporting daily activities and interactions with the city government.
