As we near the end of 2021, Jakarta’s super app JAKI was once again selected as one of the chosen projects in the Indonesia Entrepreneur ICT (IdenTIK) competition. IdenTIK 2021 is a competition organized by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics to explore the potential of ICT products and crafts by the nation's own. Later, the selected work can be a representative of Indonesia in similar competitions at the regional and international levels. 

In 2020, JAKI super app was also selected as the champion in the IdenTIK competition for Public Sector category. While at the IdenTIK 2021 event in the same category, two features in JAKI namely JakLapor - Privacy by Default and Digital Vaccination Passport, successfully selected among the chosen projects, respectively in second and fourth place.

The Benefit of Features

In JAKI, there are several features that are ready to help Jakartans to get services that have been provided by the Jakarta Provincial Government, such as Jakarta Tanggap Covid-19, JakLapor, JakPantau, JakPangan, JakWifi, and JakPenda. In this competition, the JakLapor feature and Digital Passport Vaccination are selected as chosen works of the year. So, you might be curious, what are the benefits of these two features?

First, there is the JakLapor feature. This feature has a role as a reporting channel for Jakarta residents in JAKI. Through JakLapor, Jakartans can report various problems, such as flooding, damage to facilities, disruption of aid distribution, violations of PPKM, and the like. All these obstacles, you can report it in just a few minutes. Reports from citizens will then be followed up by the relevant Regional Organization Apparatus (OPD). Regarding the security of the identity of the reporter, you also do not need to worry, because JakLapor has a Privacy by Default feature. This system allows citizens to create private reports by default. Thus, report details such as photos and address will not be seen by anyone, including officers. You simply write a report description along with a complete location benchmark, and your report will still be followed up. The existence of this feature makes the identity of Jakarta residents as whistleblowers more secure.

How to Safely Report with the Automatic Private Report feature

In addition to JakLapor, there is a second feature selected in IdenTIK, namely Digital Vaccination Passport. This feature can be found when we register vaccinations in Jakarta. The existence of this vaccination status makes it easy for Jakartans to know easily about their vaccination progress through different colors. These colors of the vaccination status are red, orange, and green. Each color has a meaning that indicates whether they have been fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated, or yet to be vaccinated.

With the presence of these features, it certainly allows Jakarta residents to fulfill their daily needs in a much easier way. Through JakLapor, you can report problems in Jakarta effectively and safely. With a Digital Vaccination Passport, you can find out the status of your vaccinations directly from your smartphone.
