Jakarta Smart City’s JAKI is Ready to Arrive in Lampung
The digitalisation of government services continues to expand across Indonesia. On 15 April 2025, the Provincial Government of Jakarta and the Provincial Government of Lampung officially signed a cooperation agreement to enhance digital public services in Lampung. One of the key highlights of this collaboration is the replication of the JAKI (Jakarta Kini) super-app, which will be introduced in Lampung under a new name: Lampung-in.

JAKI: Jakarta’s Technology, an Inspiration for Indonesia
Developed by BLUD/Badan Layanan Umum Daerah (regional public service agency) Jakarta Smart City, JAKI has become the backbone of digital public services in the Special Region of Jakarta. As a super-app, JAKI successfully integrates various services such as issue reporting, public information, access to health services, and licensing, all within a single platform.
JAKI’s success has not gone unnoticed. The application has earned prestigious national and international recognition, including a Gold Medal at the 2020 IdenTIK Competition by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia, Gold Medal from AICTA 2021, and the Champion title at the WSIS Prizes 2023 from the ITU (International Telecommunication Union), a specialised agency of the United Nations.
These achievements are clear evidence that technology can effectively bridge public needs with fast, transparent, and efficient government responses. JAKI’s success has made it an inspiring model for other regions looking to build an integrated digital service ecosystem.
From Jakarta to Lampung: A Growing Transformation
Impressed by Jakarta’s success in managing public information and complaints digitally, the Provincial Government of Lampung took a concrete step forward. Through this collaboration, JAKI will evolve into Lampung-in, a digital platform tailored to meet public service needs in Lampung.

This transformation begins with the development of a digital complaint service platform, managed by UPTD Pusdatin Bappeda Lampung Province. Using an integrated approach, Lampung-in aims to unify data and services across provincial and local government agencies, supporting data-driven decision-making and more responsive public services.

Collaborating for Accessible Digital Services in Indonesia
As the developer of JAKI, Jakarta Smart City (JSC) continues to push for digital transformation beyond the capital. JSC’s commitment is demonstrated through its support and knowledge transfer to other regions, including Lampung.
In this partnership, JSC acts as both a technical partner and strategic consultant to ensure that the replication process is effective and tailored to local needs. From system architecture and reporting flows to user experience, everything will be adapted to fit Lampung’s unique context and challenges.
This collaboration between Jakarta and Lampung is a concrete example of how interregional synergy can accelerate progress in digital government. By sharing proven solutions, digital transformation doesn't have to start from scratch.
Jakarta Smart City believes that a strong digital ecosystem can only be achieved when all stakeholders: government, communities, and the tech sector move forward together. The replication of JAKI in Lampung is a first step toward inclusive and sustainable innovation in public services across Indonesia.
