Jakarta Smart City Wins at IDC Awards

Jakarta Smart City has received another international award for its super app JAKI. The JAKI application, which is managed by Jakarta Smart City and as the result of collaboration between various parties in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, is a super application that is not only useful for Jakarta residents, but also has many great achievements.

In early 2021, the JAKI application was selected as one of the champion projects in the E-government category at the WSIS (World Summit on Information Society) Prizes. Now, the good news is back in October 2021, Jakarta Smart City with its flagship product JAKI came out on top in Best in Future of Digital Innovation category by IDC Indonesia at the 2021 IDC Future Enterprise Awards.

Chosen From 1000 Nominees Across Asia-Pacific

JAKI as a digital transformation project from Jakarta Smart City was selected among 1,000 quality nominations from across Asia/Pacific, such as Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, South Korea, India, Australia, and New Zealand.

In the fifth year of this award, the IDC Future Enterprise Awards honors organizations that use technology to respond to the challenges of the digital economy in the midst of a changing pandemic. By winning this category, JAKI has become a benchmark for the successful implementation of digital initiatives in the government sector by becoming an application with a variety of solutions offered to residents of DKI Jakarta.

This victory also led Jakarta Smart City to advance as a finalist from Indonesia in the regional award which the winners will be announced on 27 October, 2021, at the IDC Digital Transformation (DX) Summit live from IDC Arena, Singapore.

  1. Nominations for country-level awards are judged independently by country and regional analysts.
  2. IDC analysts then  compare each finalist's entry according to a standard scoring framework based on IDC's DX taxonomy.

The awards received by JAKI are not only the hard work of one party, but also the collaboration of various elements in the Jakarta Provincial Government and its residents who are eager to use JAKI in their daily lives.
