Have you ever submitted a report on JAKI but didn’t know you could leave a review? Now, with the latest innovation in the JAKI app, you can file a report and rate and review the follow-up actions taken by the city officers. This new feature reflects JAKI’s ongoing commitment to more transparent and responsive public services.

Refreshing the Citizen Report Feature on JAKI

The Citizen Report feature on JAKI (Jakarta Kini) has long served as a key channel for Jakarta residents to report various city issues, from uncollected trash to broken streetlights. Thanks to an integrated system that connects directly to relevant government agencies, these reports are handled swiftly through the Citizen Response Management (CRM) system.

Now, the reporting experience on JAKI is more interactive with the addition of a rating and review feature. This means that after your report is addressed, you can give direct feedback to the officers responsible for the follow-up.

How to Leave a Review on JAKI

Leaving a review on JAKI is simple. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open the JAKI app on your device.

  2. Tap on the Activity menu at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Go to View My Reports to see the list of reports you’ve submitted.

  4. Under Active Reports, find the one you want to review.

  5. Scroll down and give a star rating based on your experience. After you rate, a review box will appear automatically — feel free to share your thoughts there.

The review you write will be forwarded directly to the field officers via the CRM system, ensuring your feedback reaches the right people.

Please note that the review feature is only available for reports submitted within the past seven days. If your report is older than that, you’ll see a message informing you that it can no longer be reviewed. So, make sure to share your feedback within a week of submitting your report.

Why This Review Feature Matters

This isn’t just a cosmetic update — it’s a step toward a more collaborative and accountable public service. Here’s why it makes a difference:

Encouraging Accountability

Knowing their performance is being rated by citizens, officers are more motivated to handle reports responsibly and thoroughly.

A Tool for Evaluation

Feedback from citizens provides valuable insights for the government to evaluate the effectiveness of its response process and identify areas that need improvement.

Boosting Public Trust

When people feel heard and see their input making an impact, it builds greater trust in public services and encourages more active participation in city improvement.

With this new feature, JAKI is creating a more participatory and quality-driven reporting ecosystem for all Jakarta residents.

Now, you’re not just a reporter, but also a service evaluator. If you’ve filed a report before, go back and leave a review. Every piece of feedback you give plays a role in building a better Jakarta.
