Are you passionate about digital startups? Join Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital, where individuals with a shared interest in digital startups unite! They extend their support to all the facilitators of Indonesia's digital startup ecosystem. Since 2016, they have established connections and shared knowledge and experiences through their 1000 Startup Digital application. One of their notable programs is #Hack4ID.

What is #Hack4ID?

The #Hack4ID program is a hackathonor an engineering competition from Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital. It is expected to improve the quality of aspiring startup founders. Through this program, they are optimistic about solving all the problems in the industry. 

This hackathon will be held in 13 hub facilitators of Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital. During the program, they will be anticipating to hear all the potential ideas from participants and work collaboratively with everyone in the industry.

What is exciting is that #Hack4ID will be a part of Future City Hub grand opening. Future City Hub is a collaboration between DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and Jakarta Smart City unit with the City of Berlin. Together, they are forming a collaborative community to develop smart city innovations.

When is #Hack4ID?

There will be three phases of #Hack4ID events, namely pre-event (kick-off and scouting), main event, and post-event. The pre-event phase will take place online approximately for two hours, meanwhile everyone will participate at the main event on site.

Pre-event of #Hack4ID (kick-off and scouting)

The #Hack4ID program will give an overview of problems in the industry, delivered by partnering companies. Everyone is also able to do the registration opening during the kick-off. Each individual who does not have a team yet will be grouped together during Team Matchmaking. Team Matchmaking will be held on Discord.

Pre-event objectives

• provides #Hack4ID potential participants with industry issues and challenges, enabling them to craft relevant business ideas;
• offers insights into the latest trends and developments in the industry; and
• becomes a platform to introduce the #Hack4ID program and register for the event.

Main event of #Hack4ID

The main event will be filled with ideas of solutions for the industry. All participants are welcome to state the ideas using the basics of design sprint methodology.

• facilitates teams to generate innovative solutions to industry challenges; and
• enhances participants' abilities and creativity in creating digital solutions.

Post-event of #Hack4ID

Get ready! Everyone who participates in the phases of events will get the chance to embark on their startup journey. Participants will have the opportunity to partake in these activities:

• Workshop:

A preparation of the skills needed by startup founders to create a digital startup. The Workshop phase is divided into four main topics: Hustler, Hipster, Hacker, and Founder Skillset & Mindset. Each topic consists of modules, which are composed of several sub-modules in the form of 8-10 minute videos. Workshop materials can be accessed through the 1000 Startup Digital application.

• Tracking & Monitoring:

Participants will be connected with a Hub Manager. A Hub Manager will monitor the progress of the startup and provide information about advanced programs that can be attended by #Hack4ID participants.
