Having qualified specifications, the hyperbaric facility provides oxygen therapy effectively and safely. Manufactured by Hypertec in the United States in 2006, the hyperbaric chamber is a Multiplace Deck Decompression Chamber (DDC) with a horizontal cylindrical design that can accommodate up to four people at once. During hyperbaric therapy/HBOT, patients are exposed to pressures of about 2.4–2.8 Atmospheres Absolute (ATA), equivalent to diving at a depth of 50–60 feet sea water (fsw). This allows pure oxygen to be optimally absorbed by the body.
