Books are like windows to the whole wide world. Don't you think? Just by reading books, we can go on exciting adventures and gain a deeper understanding of everything around us. Ever wondered what would go down if four siblings ended up ruling as kings and queens? Get your hands on The Chronicles of Narnia series by C. S. Lewis and find out! And if you're curious about the rollercoaster journey of a musician, give Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner a read. Trust me, the options are endless!

Let's face it, reading is super important. That's why on May 17, 2002, Abdul Malik Fadjar declared it as National Book Day (Hari Buku Nasional) in Indonesia. They picked this date to celebrate the founding of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia in Central Jakarta on May 17, 1980. Pretty neat, right?

No more excuses for struggling to get your hands on books! These days, there are easy-peasy ways to embark on exciting book adventures. You can use JAKI to borrow books and even reserve visits to libraries in Jakarta. So, how does it all work? Let's dive into the details below!
