Smartcitizen, you’ve probably noticed the priority seats when using Transjakarta services. In Transjakarta buses, priority seats are distinguished by their red color. To make it easier to identify priority passengers and provide them with special priority services, Transjakarta has introduced the Transjakarta Priority Customer Pin (Pin Perista). Let’s take a closer look at the benefits of the Transjakarta priority pin, who is eligible to have it, its advantages, and how to obtain it.

What is the Transjakarta Priority Pin?

The Transjakarta Priority Pin, or Pin Perista, is an identification badge given to Transjakarta priority passengers to facilitate their identification by staff and other passengers. With this pin, priority customers can sit in the priority seats during their journey with Transjakarta. This initiative is part of Transjakarta’s commitment to providing inclusive and comfortable services for all, particularly for passengers who need extra attention while using public transport.

Who Are Considered Priority Customers?

According to the criteria set by Transjakarta, the following groups are classified as priority customers:

  • Seniors (age over 60 years).
  • Pregnant women.
  • People with disabilities with visual impairments or blindness.

Benefits of Having a Priority Pin

The Transjakarta Priority Pin offers several advantages for its holders, including:

  • Identification of Priority Passengers: The pin makes it easier for staff and other passengers to recognize priority customers, ensuring they get a priority seat and other special services and assistance.
  • Comfort During Travel: Having the pin ensures that priority customers can sit comfortably in the designated priority seats, making the journey safer and more pleasant.

How to Obtain the Transjakarta Priority Pin

To get the Pin Perista, priority customers need to follow these simple steps:

  1. Register online at bit.ly/peristaTJ;
  2. After registering, prepare the necessary documents based on the priority customer category:
    • Seniors: Identity Card (KTP) and a free senior service card.
