The Omicron variant of Covid-19 causes relatively mild symptoms for patients, such as runny nose, headache, and sore throat. Because of these mild symptoms, patients who are tested positive for Covid-19 can self-isolate at home. However, it should be noted that a separate room and bathroom in the house is needed, so that the virus does not spread and infect the more vulnerables. Unfortunately, not everyone infected with Covid-19 has these adequate facilities at home. Therefore, controlled isolation in government-owned facilities could be the answer, for example, Wisma Atlet (athlete village).
How to Register
If you are tested positive for Covid-19 through an antigen result, you will be advised to do a PCR test, since Wisma Atlet only accepts patients who have received the results from the PCR test. After that, you can contact the nearest Puskesmas (community health clinic) or Hospital. If your symptoms are severe, you will be recommended to be treated in a hospital. However, if your symptoms are mild, you will be directed to isolate at Wisma Atlet or other isolation facility. The requirements to be accepted into isolate at Wisma Atlet, includes:

Stay Vigilant So You Don't Need to Isolate
Wisma Atlet can indeed be an alternative for the isolation of Covid-19 patients with mild symptoms, as the facilities provided are also adequate. However, the most important thing of course is not to be infected with Covid-19 in the first place. With cases increasing and the quick nature of the spread of Omicron variant you have to be extra vigilant.
If you haven't been vaccinated, register yourself for the Covid-19 vaccination via the JAKI application.
