Have you received your Covid-19 vaccines? If not, let's get vaccinated now. The pandemic isn't over yet. We still need to get 2 doses of vaccine shots so that our bodies are protected from the virus. It’s not too late, there are still many health facilities and vaccination centers in Jakarta that provide a first and second dose of vaccines.

Before registering for a vaccination, you must first pay attention to the provisions of the recipient of each type of vaccine. Make sure you don’t get a vaccine that is not in accordance with your health condition, age, or the type of your first dose of vaccine. If you already know the requirements for the recipient of each type of vaccine, then you can check the availability of the vaccine at the Jakarta vaccination location. You can check this availability information through the Jakarta Responding Covid-19 (Jakarta Tanggap Covid-19) website.

Recipients Requirements of Each Covid-19 Vaccine Type

Currently, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Moderna are the vaccines that have been authorized and used in Jakarta. There are certain requirements to receive each of these vaccines. This requirement applies for administering a first and second dose. The following are the details.

Sinovac vaccination requirements:

  1. Indonesian citizens with Jakarta or non-Jakarta ID cards or Indonesian citizens domiciled in DKI Jakarta or non-Jakarta (family cards required for those aged 18 years and under);
  2. Age 12 years and over.

AstraZeneca vaccination requirements:

  1. Indonesian citizens with Jakarta or non-Jakarta ID cards or Indonesian citizens domiciled in DKI Jakarta or non-Jakarta;
  2. 18 years and over.
  3. Not pregnant

Pfizer vaccination requirements:

  1. Indonesian citizens with Jakarta or non-Jakarta ID cards or Indonesian citizens domiciled in DKI Jakarta or non-Jakarta (family cards required for those aged 18 years and under);
  2. Age 12 years and over.

Moderna vaccination requirements:

  1. Indonesian citizens with Jakarta or non-Jakarta ID cards or Indonesian citizens domiciled in DKI Jakarta or non-Jakarta;
  2. 18 years and over.

In addition to the requirements above, you also need to make sure that you meet the general requirements for a vaccine recipient, such as not being physically ill. For those of you who have severe comorbid, autoimmune diseases, or are on immunosuppressant therapy, you must include a doctor's recommendation letter if you want to participate in vaccinations.

How To Check Vaccine Availability

Checking vaccine availability before you register for vaccination is highly recommended. You certainly don't want to run out of vaccine quota at the desired vaccination location, right? So, please periodically check the JAKI Vaccination Quota dashboard on the Jakarta Responding Covid-19 website. The data of vaccination quota by vaccine type is updated regularly.

There is a tip for you to make it easier to find the name of the location and the available vaccination schedule based on the type of vaccine. You can use the Nama Vaksin (Vaccine Name) filter feature. To do this, click the Nama Vaksin filter. When the names of the types of vaccines appear, you will see that all of them are checked initially. Click the vaccine name to clear the check marks. That way, the type of vaccine is automatically removed from the list of vaccination quota, and you can see the vaccination quota for other types of vaccines that you want. If you only want to see the vaccination quota for one type of vaccine, then click ONLY next to the name of the vaccine you want. Thus, the table will only show the vaccination quota for that type of vaccine.

Easy, right? With this convenience, we hope you will be more enthusiastic to register yourself for vaccinations. After checking the vaccination quota, don’t forget to register yourself through the JAKIapplication via the Pendaftaran Vaksinasi Covid-19 (Covid-19 Vaccination Registration) feature. This Jakarta’s super-app offers integrated services, one of which is related to the handling of Covid-19. To download JAKI, you can visit the Google Play Storeor Apple App Store
