The Process of Jakarta Online PPDB
There are two stages that must be passed by prospective new students (CPDB), namely pre-registration and registration.

After uploading the documents, the CPDB is required to print a proof of pre-registration submission. Next, monitor the results of the verification of the uploaded file. If the file has been verified, print a proof of pre-registration verification for the registration process. Finally, at this stage, submit an account via the PPDB Jakarta page.
Registration
At this registration stage, there are several steps that you must follow. The first step, register or apply for an account. Account submissions can be made from May 17, 2022 for SD level, May 23, 2022 for SMP, and May 30, 2022 for SMA/SMK. Jakarta PPDB Selection Path
In this year’s PPDB, there are Affirmation Selection Paths, Zoning Paths, Parent and Child Teacher Transfer Paths, Second Stage, and Third Stage for elementary education level. Meanwhile for the junior high school level, there is the Achievement Path, Affirmation Path, Zoning Path, Parent and Child Teacher Transfer Path, and the Second Stage. For high school level, there are Achievement Paths, Affirmations Paths, Zoning Paths, Parent and Child Teacher Job Transfer Paths, Second Stage, and Joint PPDB. For the SMK level, there are Achievement Paths, Affirmations Paths, and Parent and Child Teacher Transfer Paths, Second Stage, and Joint PPDB. The details are as follows.
- Achievement Path
This is a form of appreciation for students who have academic and non-academic achievements.
This is an opportunity for students from underprivileged families (foster children, persons with disabilities, children of health workers who died due to Covid-19, children registered in DTKS (Integrated Social Welfare Data), children of parent who owns Jakarta Worker Card, children of TransJakarta partner drivers, children of a parent who receive KJP Plus, and children whose parents receive KJP Plus and are also PIP recipients), to get access to good-quality education and subsidized by the government.
This is for children who live within the designated zoning area. In practice, the zoning route considers the distribution of schools, data on the domicile distribution of prospective new students, and the school’s capacity which is adjusted to the availability of the number of school-aged children at each level in the area.
This opens up the opportunities for children with parents who are transferred to other areas for work and for the children of teachers who want to go to the school where their parents teach.
The second stage of PPDB is a selection stage that takes place if schools still have quota capacity left after the first stage of selection.
PPDB Bersama is a selection path that takes place due to the lack of capacity in public schools, especially high schools and vocational schools.
