Even amid efforts to break the chain of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic (Coronavirus Disease 2019), the Government of Jakarta continues to serve and follow up on reports from residents through several Citizen Relation Management (CRM) channels, one of which is the Jakarta Now application or JAKI. Smartcitizen, let's look at what categories you can still report during the implementation of the Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in Jakarta.

Health

In the face of a coronavirus outbreak, maintaining your health is very important. The Government of Jakarta has provided several medical recommendations such as wearing masks when doing activities outside the home and conducting Rapid Tests for residents designated in the ODP (people under monitoring) and PDP (patient under surveillance). If you have questions or complaints, for example about the government handling of COVID-19, don't hesitate to report, because the government is ready to answer and help you. Reports that you make can be submitted through the Central / Private Health Facilities category.

Peace, Order, and Community Protection

Physical Distancing is one of the first steps taken by the Government of Jakarta to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the capital. This instruction was later expanded when the government imposed PSBB since April 10, 2020, and based on Governor of Jakarta Regulation No. 33 of 2020. So if you still see people gathering without any important or emergency needs in your surrounding environment, immediately report to JAKI under the category of Disruption of Order and Peace.

Social Aid

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has begun to be felt by all groups of people, especially for those who currently have difficulty meeting basic needs during the PSBB period. The Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, said that the government is ready to distribute social assistance packages for underprivileged and vulnerable people affected by the coronavirus, amounting to 1,194,633 families. To ensure that the distribution process runs smoothly, residents can report any problem through the Social Aid category.

Labour

Activities inside the workplace or offices are suspended during the PSBB period. If your type of work is not included in the 11 excluded sectors, then you are required to temporarily work from home. Unfortunately, some companies still require their employees to be present at the office. You can report this violation through the Worker-Company Relations category which will later be followed up by the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Jakarta. You can also choose the same category to report workers' rights that have been violated, for example, regarding salary during a pandemic.

Commerce

The spread of the COVID-19 pandemic occurred at almost the same time with Ramadan and is likely to continue until the Idul Fitri. This can cause some essential items to be difficult to obtain or with increased prices. The Government of Jakarta through the Department of Food Security, Maritime Affairs, and Agriculture, has previously stated that it will guarantee the availability of food for the people of Jakarta during the PSBB period. However, if you have difficulty obtaining other needs such as LPG cylinders, this problem can be reported through the Commerce category which will follow up on all complaints related to item scarcity.

Now, Smartcitizen, stay alert during the outbreak and report any irregularities that you encounter so that every step taken by the government can run smoothly and Jakarta can immediately recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
